I’m interested in the intersection of creativity, technology and business — and what becomes possible when the boundaries between them begin to disappear.
ScrollI started with software.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in the systems around it: people, businesses, ideas, organisations, technology, and how they influence one another.
My work eventually moved from building software to building teams, businesses and capabilities. But the instinct remained the same.
Understand how something works. Imagine how it could work differently. Then try to build it.
03 Intentions
The more senior you become, the easier it is to spend your life discussing things other people will build.
I don’t want that.
I want to remain close enough to technology, creativity and craft to turn an idea into something real.
Technology rarely changes only technology. It changes behaviour. Then expectations. Then industries. Then institutions.
I want to understand those shifts early — not to predict the future perfectly, but to have some agency in shaping what comes next.
I’m interested in technology, but not technology for its own sake.
The important question is: what does this make possible that wasn’t possible before?
AI is making intelligence and creation increasingly abundant. I want to understand what we should do with that abundance.
Many creative organisations were designed for the economics and technologies of another era. Those assumptions are changing.
The distance between an idea and its execution is shrinking. Capabilities that were once scarce are becoming widely available.
I want to explore what a creative organisation should become when intelligence is abundant, production is accelerated, and disciplines increasingly overlap.
Software.Artificial intelligence.Science.Music.Astronomy.Design.Economics.History.Games.Electronics.
I don’t see these as unrelated interests. Every field gives you another model for understanding the others.
Curiosity compounds.
I believe the next few decades will bring profound change. Artificial intelligence will change how we think about work and intelligence. Scientific discovery will accelerate. The relationship between humans and machines will become increasingly complex.
I want to understand that future — as someone building businesses, as someone making things, and as a father preparing a child to live in a world we cannot fully predict.
What should we be learning today if tomorrow will be radically different?
Not everything needs a business case.
Build an arcade machine. Make music nobody asked for. Write some code because you wondered if something was possible. Learn how an old machine works. Take something apart. Build it again. Follow a question much further than necessary.
Some of the most valuable things we do begin with no obvious value at all.

Certainty closes doors. Curiosity opens them.
Thinking is useful. Making something reveals what thinking alone cannot.
Interesting ideas often exist between disciplines.
The important question is not what technology can do. It is what people can do differently because it exists.
Simple is not always easy. But unnecessary complexity is usually a failure of understanding.
Strong opinions are useful. Permanent opinions are dangerous.
Predicting what happens next is less interesting than helping shape it.

Today I work at the intersection of business, creativity and technology.
I live in Istanbul. I build things. I ask too many questions.
I am usually learning something that has very little to do with what I am supposed to be doing.
